We have so much that we build and create for CHS Culinary Arts. We organize and implement Cheftacular - Carmel's only culinary competition and charity tasting event. Cheftacular has allowed us to great the Cheftacular Scholarship which provides two scholarships per year through the Carmel Edcuration Foundation. We also fund gold medal culinary teams, culinary FCCLA  (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America ) student memberships, and much needed culinary equipment including chef coats for every culinary arts student at CHS  . 

We also provide the initial funding for events such as Cheftacular and the CHS food stand at the Carmel Arts Festival - events that provide our students with real world experience in culinary arts and hospitality. 

Our dream is to keep growing and building so that we can help provide not only extra curricular enrichment but to assist our young culinary artists attend culinary schools .

Cheftacular returns for its 8th year February 23rd, 2026. 

This year we are adding a touch of sparkle and sprinkle of dazzle

bringing you an unforgettable evening of culinary excellence. 

Cheftacular champions and new competitors will be joining 

our creative young student culinarians to once again delight your tastebuds to win your vote for the Best of Cheftacular. This year we are stepping it up a notch! 16+ incredible tasting dishes from our chef/student teams, plus tasting dishes fresh out of our student professional kitchens made by CHS Culinary Arts, exclusive kitchen tours, live music and art featuring musicians and fine artists from Carmel High School and a silent auction.

All proceeds support CHS Culinary Arts , the Cheftacular Scholarship, 

and the Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank.

What is Cheftacular ?

Cheftacular is a collaborative tasting event where 

professional chefs and culinary students work together 

in the spirit of competition and giving back. 

Each chef/student team is given a signature ingredient, 

each team gets a different ingredient to 

create something amazing with to win Cheftacular! 

And the best part is YOU get to taste every dish!

Every year local chefs and Carmel High School Culinary Arts students 

will team up to showcase the best in Central Indiana culinary arts. 

Incredible and innovative dishes are certain to delight, 

using locally sourced ingredients to promote the best of 

Indiana food producers and artisans. 

The event includes small plates of both savory and sweet dishes 

created exclusively for Cheftacular. Plus our guests help to decide who goes home with the coveted Audience Choice Award with your vote!
